Jacqueline "Jacki" Lorio is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over nine years of experience in providing social work services to the community. Specializing in trauma-informed care and grief counseling, Jacki assists individuals and families through challenging transitions and emotional hardships. While she has extensive work experience with foster children, foster/adoptive parents, and birth parents, Jacki also provides compassionate care to a diverse client base facing trauma, grief, and complex family dynamics. She understands the unique grief and challenges experienced by different individuals, using Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), ice breakers, activities, and reflective imaging to foster a trusting therapeutic environment.
Beyond child welfare, Jacki specializes in crisis intervention and mental health challenges, supporting individuals with chronic and life-limiting illnesses, including cancer. Her expertise extends to assisting clients with head and neck issues, such as tracheostomies and laryngectomies, rooted in her experience at Our Lady of the Lake.
