About

"Empower one life, and watch their world transform."

Jacqueline "Jacki" Lorio is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over nine years of experience in providing social work services to the community. Specializing in trauma-informed care and grief counseling, Jacki assists individuals and families through challenging transitions and emotional hardships. While she has extensive work experience with foster children, foster/adoptive parents, and birth parents, Jacki also provides compassionate care to a diverse client base facing trauma, grief, and complex family dynamics. She understands the unique grief and challenges experienced by different individuals, using Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), ice breakers, activities, and reflective imaging to foster a trusting therapeutic environment. Beyond child welfare, Jacki specializes in crisis intervention and mental health challenges, supporting individuals with chronic and life-limiting illnesses, including cancer. Her expertise extends to assisting clients with head and neck issues, such as tracheostomies and laryngectomies, rooted in her experience at Our Lady of the Lake. Jacki's client-centered, holistic approach ensures a safe space for exploring emotions and developing effective coping strategies. Through her private practice, Jacki supports clients in achieving personal and therapeutic goals, enhancing their overall well-being.
